Twan is a real flying dutchman. This big boy is almost 2 meters tall and looks like he’s born for speed windsurfing. This is the third year in a row that he attend the Luderitz Speed Challenge, he’s always been one of the fastest, and this year he was able to reach 52.49 knots riding his AV-Boards Modena Speed, signing the Dutch national record and missing the World Speed Record just for a few cents of knots!
His goal is to go for speed and for all the competitions where his speed can make the difference, such as Defi Wind, and other in line competitions. But he’s looking to also approach slalom competitions, so as soon as international racing fields will open, for sure we’ll find our big gun challenging the slalom world class elite riding his Modena Slalom boards.
